AI agents + migration engineers

Replatform your application. Your way.

Move from legacy PHP and WordPress toward Python, Java, .NET, or Node.js with AI agents, migration engineers, or both.

The starting point

Your existing platform shouldn't limit your future.

Aging PHP systems can carry maintenance burdens, unsupported dependencies, and integration friction. The right destination depends on the application, its users, and its constraints.

PHP itself is not inherently insecure. Risk comes from unsupported code, dependencies, and configuration.

A rewrite is not always needed. Modernizing the PHP version, framework, dependencies, and deployment can be the right destination.

Architectural options

Choose a destination that fits the work.

Each path starts with an assessment of the application and its dependencies.

01 / 05

PHP to Python

A path for applications suited to Python web and content ecosystems.

Fit depends on domain logic, data, and editorial needs.

Django · FastAPI · Wagtail
02 / 05

PHP to Java

A path for applications that benefit from a Java architecture.

Magnolia is one CMS option where content needs warrant it.

Spring Boot · Magnolia
03 / 05

PHP to .NET

A path for applications aligned with the .NET ecosystem.

Umbraco is one CMS option, subject to requirements.

ASP.NET Core · Umbraco
04 / 05

PHP to Node.js / TypeScript

A path for JavaScript and TypeScript based services or content sites.

Choose the framework around application and content needs.

NestJS · Express · Strapi · Next.js
05 / 05

Modernize PHP in place

Keep PHP while updating the foundation beneath the application.

A valid destination when a rewrite adds little value.

PHP version · framework · dependencies · deployment

Common PHP platforms

WordPress · WooCommerce · Drupal · Joomla · Magento · Laravel · Symfony · CodeIgniter · CakePHP · Yii · legacy Zend/Laminas · custom PHP

Common hosting environments

Apache + mod_php · Nginx + PHP-FPM · LiteSpeed · IIS + PHP · shared hosting/cPanel · containers

These destinations are architectural options, not automatic one-to-one replacements. CMS features, plugins, themes, data, and integrations may require per-project assessment and rebuild work.

Delivery models

Work your way. Pay for the work you need.

Agent-led

AI tooling supports suitable tasks. Your team owns review, QA, and deployment.

Hybrid

AI, experienced engineers, and your team work together. Task ownership is agreed for each engagement.

Fully managed

Migration engineering is coordinated end-to-end with agreed customer approvals.

Your team can take on approved work such as content inventory, infrastructure provisioning, test documentation, UAT, and manual checks to reduce scoped professional-services cost.

The roadmap

A plan that carries through launch.

Migration doesn't end at launch.

01

T-minus

Prepare

Inventory and audit, target architecture, integration discovery, task breakdown, risks, test plan, ownership, and backout plan.

02

T-zero

Migrate and go live

Rebuild or convert suitable code, move content and data, validate in staging, and approve cutover.

03

T-plus

Stabilize and support

Post-release monitoring within the contracted scope, triage, handover, and a maintenance plan.

Listed starting payments use Stripe checkout. Scope, start dates, and any further costs are agreed separately. Automated scanning and project tracking are not available here.

How it works

From first description to an agreed delivery plan.

01

Describe the current application and intended destination.

02

Receive a migration blueprint covering architecture, tasks, risks, and a scoped estimate.

03

Choose agent-led, hybrid, or fully managed, and agree task ownership.

04

Confirm scope and contract terms; start dates are agreed per engagement.

05

Track milestones and approvals within the agreed delivery process.

06

Approve cutover and select a T-plus support arrangement.

Why Replatform Live

Experience where migration complexity matters.

Engineering judgment and human oversight shape each proposed path. Customers retain control over decisions and approvals. We aim to avoid unnecessary rewrites, make milestones transparent, and plan for what happens after launch.

We describe capabilities here, not past clients; a scope discussion is where specifics belong.

Questions

Good questions before any migration.

Can WordPress move to Python, Java, .NET, or Node.js?

Yes, a site can be rebuilt on those stacks, but CMS features, content, plugins, themes, and integrations need assessment and often rebuild work.

Can this really be a one-click migration?

No. AI can assist suitable tasks, but architecture, validation, approvals, and cutover require planned work and human review.

Can my own team do some of the work?

Yes. Task ownership is agreed per engagement. Your team can handle approved content, infrastructure, testing, or manual checks.

Do I need to leave PHP?

No. Updating PHP, a framework, dependencies, and deployment may be the better path.

Who owns the source code and data?

Ownership and access are set in the project contract. The intended approach is to preserve customer control of their code and data.

Will there be downtime or search-ranking changes?

Both are project risks. Cutover, redirects, testing, and rollback planning can reduce risk, but outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

How do queueing and project start dates work?

Availability, scope, and start dates are discussed and agreed per engagement. A payment does not reserve a start date; this site does not track work.
